One week in Kas
Kas is not very far from Finike, about an hour and a half drive, but is totally different as it is somewhat similar to fashion seaside resorts. From Kas you can discover Kalkan, Patara, Xanthos … and the Greek island of Castelorizo nearby.
Kas is a beautiful place, one of the loveliest of the coast, particularly on the peninsula where is located the Diva hotel with a splendid view on the islands.

One week in Cappadocia
Cappadocia does not need an introduction. One week’s stay is necessary to really begin to discover it. Cappadocia is renowned for its valleys with the fairy chimneys and its numerous chapels and monasteries dating back to the early days of Christendom, and for certain underground cities of mysterious origin.

From Finike to Istanbul
If you have the time, a journey by car from Finike to Istanbul will enable you to discover inside Turkey which is not less interesting than the coastal area.
A ten-day trip will bring you to the white cliffs of Pamukkale, to the ancient Greek city of Aphrodisias, to Izmir, to the little Foça harbour, to the charming fishing harbour of Assos, to Iznik, the ancient Nicea where one of the first Catholic Councils was held, and to Bursa the silk city.

Dalyan and the lake Bafa
You will need about a week for the excursion to Dalyan and Lake Bafa taking into account the drive from and back to L’Orangeraie. On the way to or back, you will have the opportunity to discover the sites of Kalkan and Xanthos on the road to Dalyan, then according to your historical appetite Stratonikos, Euromos, Labraunda on the road to Lake Bafa.

Dalyan is an old fishing harbour at the end of a beautiful lagoon linking lake Köycegiz and the sea. You arrive at the end of the afternoon and spend the next day visiting the lagoon on a fishing boat and will pass by a beautiful Lycian necropolis. Lunch can be served on the beach and will consist of a delicious barbecue of blue crabs of Dalyan.
One day’s journey will then take you to Lake Bafa, a natural bird reserve where you will have a quiet dinner in one of the only two boarding houses of the village. Your host can organize a walk in the mountains to discover ancient Byzantine monasteries with their rock drawings.
